My Birthplace: Orion- New Providence and Ruthann- Macungie, near Allentown. They both were
born at home. Current Residence: Lancaster, Pa
My Education: Penna School for the Deaf
My family: A son, Donald and daughter Colleen and grandsons, Todd and Tyler
My first Job: Ruthann: sewing operator about 42 years ago . Orion: Intell Printing, started
September 23 1963, Retired after 36 years
Lad Member: they joined LAD in 1964
What you like about your retirement: Orion enjoy his retirement very much, doing the house
work, go on the hunting trip, and go out when there are deaf events going on . Ruthann has
been a house wife since she got married to Orion
My Idea of good time: we enjoy going to different Deaf clubs.
My best Memories in Deaf Club: Orion said the first thing about the good times that he will not
forget, they went out on shuffleboard trips with LAD members. They assume you know what he
mean about these trips, if you are not sure, ask him. Ruthann said she was devoted her time
raising her children during that time.
My favorite TV programming: Orion : TCM AND AMC: Ruthann : Wheel of fortune
Our Favorite Hobbies: Orion said that he enjoys Nascar racing and hunting
